Compiling on Debian

Postby Skarfester » Sat Mar 10, 2018 8:03 pm

Bonjour,

I'd like to compile rolisteam on a Debian testing (buster) system, but I have a few questions:

- ¿What is RCSE? ¿Do I need to compile it? ¿Where do I put it?

- ¿Is the dependencies list on the wiki updated?

Thank you very much. I'll post a how-to compile rolisteam on debian, if I suceed. :P

Hi !

I compiled Rolisteam on Debian few weeks ago.

1/ RCSE means Rolisteam Character Sheet Editor. You may want to compile it as well if you plan to use Rolisteam managed Character sheets.

2/ This is the list of package, I have installed on my debian VM:

libqt5clucene5
libqt5concurrent5
libqt5core5a
libqt5dbus5
libqt5designer5
libqt5designercomponents5
libqt5gui5
libqt5help5
libqt5multimedia5
libqt5multimediaquick-p5
libqt5multimediawidgets5
libqt5network5
libqt5opengl5
libqt5opengl5-dev
libqt5printsupport5
libqt5qml5
libqt5quick5
libqt5quickparticles5
libqt5quicktest5
libqt5quickwidgets5
libqt5script5
libqt5sql5
libqt5sql5-sqlite
libqt5svg5
libqt5test5
libqt5webkit5
libqt5widgets5
libqt5xml5
libqt5xmlpatterns5
qt5-default
qt5-doc
qt5-gtk-platformtheme
qt5-qmake
qt5-qmltooling-plugins
zlib1g-dev
libqt5qml5
qml-module-qtgraphicaleffects
qml-module-qtqml-models2
qml-module-qtquick-controls
qml-module-qtquick-layouts
qml-module-qtquick-window2
qml-module-qtquick2
qmlscene
qt5-qmltooling-plugins

For RCSE, please install poppler-qt5-dev as well.

3/ Recommendations:

-Add "return true" at line 176 of mapframe.cpp file. (just between file.close() and the }.

Code: Select all

    file.close();
    return true;
}

-If your compiler has difficulties to find fabs function.
just include cmath at the top of the file

Code: Select all

#include <cmath>

I may give you updated source code. If you have any problem.

4/ Do not hesitate to ask me any questions.
I know that the English of the documentation is bad and the documentation is old.
I'm currently working on a new version of the documentation.
