release time for 1.8

how much time to launch the new version of the program? Still a long time? Because I am not able to compile on Windows and not on Linux using the new version of QT Creator with the source code from Github.

I hope to release it before 2017. I use it for my own games to test it. So yes I compile it for linux and windows.
But as I'm working from several PC, sometime I commit "temporary" code which means I just commit my changes to be able to find them and continue the change. It is used as backup.
You may fall in this case. I will commit all my new change it will change that I think.

Thank you for me to answer, I'm waiting the official release of 1.8 and hope you can shed gradually version 1.8, you by chance manages to come to a launch daily build or night launch as pre alphas versions for testing? Would be compiled versions with bugs to find and report to the development.

I provide nightly Build for Ubuntu only.
I have two Ubuntu repositories, the first one for official releases and the other one for development purpose.
If you are using Ubuntu you may add the dev repo and get the latest version of under testing Rolisteam v1.8.

I provide that because one of my player has Ubuntu. So it is Best way.
But it requires Ubuntu 16.04.

I don't have the url of this repo because i m on my phone but i can give you tomorrow
