Please do a Better avatar system

Postby sioc » Wed Jun 14, 2017 8:49 am

Hi,

nice work on the 1.8.2.

We need to be able to put many avatar for a same PC or NPC.

For ex: if you play werewolf, that would allow to have a visual on the form the character is 'Human, wolf or crinos), and change the avatar displayed with a simple click on the token we want to change with one of its preset avatar.

It is not like the status image that is the same for everyone, the point here is to have between 1 and 4 (or more) avatar images for each PC / NPC and change between them easily.

thanks

I can make that happen but in exchange. You will have to send me some screenshots where this feature is used.

Deal ?

hello,

Is it possible to add avatar image for PC and NPC, so visually we can know who is who ?

Even better, can we have many images for a given token we can switch at will, like showing Clark Kent or Superman on a same token ?

Yes, I wrote down some feature about that in the 1.9. There is an NPC maker panel which allows to create a rtok (for rolisteam token) where user can define actions, avatar, hp, initiative roll, and some properties to set a small character sheet.
So basically, if you make a low level character, you define his actions based on its properties (so attack roll: 1d20+${agility}) you save the token. To make a high level character in the same game you just have to edit his properties to increase his agility score.

For PC, it will be managed by the character sheet code for the 1.9 version. It is not the main focus of the 1.9 so in the next version I will make a bit easier for anyone, to do that.
